In another operation which was equally dangerous, the body of the missing individual was removed safely from the crocodile’s belly which was 4.5 meters in length. The missing individual is an unfortunate soul who went missing a week back when his vehicle was engulfed in the floodwaters. This daring operation was carried out by Captain Johan Potgieter who himself climbed down a helicopter to tie the crocodile through a rope even though he was previously killed by his partners. One must remember that it was a very dangerous job because there were numerous other crocodiles and hippos in the area.
